![]() ![]() Don't play comparing to other players, play how you want to. If you feel that x15 is too fast, turn it down a notch until you find comfortable with a setting. Last thing to conclude don't overthink everything. If you want to work quickly, try to optimize everything you do so the tool is actually working in the field, and not doing something else. If your combine is filling up quickly, hire a worker to make it harvest in straight line while you yourself drive a tractor with a trailer alongside the combine to unload it as it works, etc. Try to work on your field going along the longest edge so you don't actually have to manoeuver every 15m. Every time you reverse, turn, have to unload etc, it's time you don't use to actually harvest. Keep this in mind as it'll help you improve your work time for harvesting as well as in every other task you'll perform in the game: Try to do as little manoeuvers as possible. I didn't play on Haut-Beyleron yet, but I'm guessing the starting combine is quite small yes, but you should be able to harvest your small field rather quickly. So, as for your situation, taking an entire day to harvest a small field at x5 is uhm, strange, concerning at worse, but that's perfectly okay. With seasons implemented into the game, you sure have some time off but it definitely helps you thinking ahead and planing what and how you want to do things. I'm playing on Elmcreek and since I want to stay away from cheats and gameplay cheese, I progress slowly but I use that time to plan ahead a lot more. ![]() Now, regarding FS22, since I'm a bit more experienced, I use 1 day per month and time x15. When on FS19, I played at time x15 and, just like you, I discovered that I had not enough time to work the fields I had with my current fleet, so I used money cheats to buy bigger and better gear and found a nice pace to cover every field within a reasonable timespan. So for my part, I'm by no means a seasoned FS veteran nor a RL farmer, so I'm guessing my opinion will be a bit closer to your experience. What about you, what settings have you been using? How long does it take you (real time) to work a field? How do people manage to play this game with potentially massive farms with one day per month or time acceleration set any higher than x5? Time acceleration : x5 (anything higher and I feel like I don't have time to do anything even with the tiniest of farms).Days per month : 4 (so one day per week of the month). My Steam says I've played 5h and most of this would have been spent on that save, working that field, so that does seem like a lot (maybe, maybe not?). ![]() Maybe I am not making good use of my time but I found it took me an entire day at x5 speed to harvest, bale, plow and remove rocks for field 38 in the Haut-Beyleron map (the small one just south of the Starter Farm), which seems like a pretty small field to work. ![]() I am curious to know what sort of settings you personally use for 'days per month' and time acceleration also any idea if it is possible to start a new game with it set to anything but '1'? It seems the first month is locked to being only one day as the settings only applies into the next month. I have recently bought FS22, with only a few hours clocked on FS19/PS4 years ago, just enough to grab my attention for the latest iteration in the series. ![]()
